Last week was mostly concerned with finishing off the 9/11 memorial in Blue / Americana.

Ended up modifying Jining Qi's design slightly, as a hollow cylinder - the heart of his design - at 10 meters wide doesn't quite give adequate sight lines in the interior without changing camera position. So, added a rectangular entry-area with walkway to help this out. Rear section as planned was a NY skyline with "colums of light", and Eggy Lippman helped with a modification of Garth/Boso's instant-rez script, to save on light charges for the towers.

People seemed to respond positively; there was at least one other memorial in-world (Nephilaine Protagonist's). I added a candel there, but she won't accept donations for the object's support cost.

Baccara Rhodes showed me the new house in Jessie, as well as the array of artwork she and Nick have produced together. Fabulous stuff.

The drive for new recruits seems to have picked up, as we recently were introduced to new members Jai Nomad and Johnathan Marten.

On a lighter note, my "above me on the hill" neighbor picked up a patch of property near Kail's place, and released the hill section. Thank the lords of good taste - now I can put up a fence...
